You may use this site to browse and to buy things for your own use. You may not use it to break the law, to interfere with how it works, to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for other people, or to resell our products commercially without our written agreement.
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, to place an order.
Every Kitsters kit is designed and handmade in our studio in Mumbai, India. Because they are handmade, small variations in colour, finish and packaging are normal and are not defects.
We try hard to show our kits accurately. Colours on your screen will not match the physical kit exactly, and product photos often show a finished project rather than the contents of the box. What you are buying is described in the product description.
Age guidance and safety. Our kits are craft products, not toys. Age guidance on a product page is guidance, and many kits contain small parts, sharp tools or materials that are not safe for young children. Adult supervision is required where a product page says so. Follow the instructions in the kit.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on where your order is going.
Shipping is free, and any import duties and customs charges are already included in what you pay. See our Shipping Policy.
We take payment through a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you a shipping confirmation, not when you click Pay and not when you get the order confirmation email.
We may decline or cancel an order - and will refund you in full if we do - where the item is out of stock, where the price or description was clearly wrong, where we cannot ship to your address, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
If we get a price wrong, we will contact you before charging you and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel. We will not silently charge you a different amount from the one shown.

Cancellations, replacements and refunds
These are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: you can cancel free of charge before dispatch; anything damaged or defective is replaced or refunded within 30 days of delivery; and you never pay to ship anything back to us.
Gift cards are issued in US dollars, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash except where your state's law requires it. They are not credit or debit cards and are not protected against loss or theft.
If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you do.

Reviews and anything else you post
If you post a review, a photo or a comment, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to display and reuse it in connection with our products and marketing, without payment.
Only post things you have the right to post, and do not post anything unlawful, misleading, or abusive. We may remove content that breaks this rule. We do not remove reviews for being critical, and we do not offer anything in exchange for a positive one.
The words, photographs, illustrations, kit designs, instructions and the Kitsters name and logo are ours or are licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. Buying a kit buys you the kit, not the right to reproduce its design.
Our site includes services run by other companies - payments, reviews, an Instagram feed, and carriers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to what they do. We are not responsible for third-party sites we link to.
We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any product, at any time.

Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for supplying what you ordered, and for doing what these terms and our Refund Policy say we will do.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for anything that happens because you did not follow the instructions or the safety guidance in a kit, or for how a finished project turns out.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and some states do not allow some of these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.
Nothing here affects your rights under the consumer protection laws of your state.

If part of this does not hold
If a court decides any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it — we do not apply changes backwards.
